Custom Shirts for Nonprofits, Churches & Volunteer Groups
Make a volunteer team visible and a staff team look official. The Piedmont Stitch House makes custom printed and embroidered apparel for nonprofits, churches, ministries, outreach programs, fundraising events, conferences, and community organizations — event shirts, volunteer tees, staff polos, and hats.

What organizations order
Apparel Budgets Stretch Further When the Mix Is Right
Most organizations need two things at once: a lot of inexpensive shirts for volunteers and events, and a smaller number of nicer embroidered pieces for staff and leadership. Running both through one shop keeps the logo identical across everything.
Printed tees are the right answer for a one-day event, a service project, or a fundraiser where the shirt is part of what people are paying for. Embroidered polos and quarter-zips are the right answer for the people representing you all year.
If sponsors are covering the shirts, we can lay out sponsor marks on the back or sleeve and show you the whole thing on a proof before it runs.

Event Shirts, Volunteer Tees and Staff Apparel
Small orders are welcome, and larger event runs drop the cost per shirt considerably. Tell us your budget and we will build to it.
- Printed volunteer & event tees — the lowest cost per shirt for service days, walks, camps, and conferences
- Embroidered staff polos — for pastors, directors, coordinators, and anyone representing you year-round
- Outreach & mission trip shirts — one run of shirts for a group traveling or serving together
- Embroidered hats — caps and beanies for staff, volunteers, and outreach programs
- Fundraiser apparel — shirts priced so the sale actually raises money, with the margin shown up front
- Sponsor placements — sponsor logos arranged on the back or sleeve and shown on your proof
Common questions
Nonprofit & Church Apparel FAQs
We have a small budget. What is the cheapest way to shirt a group?
A printed tee in a one- or two-color design on a basic garment. Tell us the price per shirt you need to hit and we will show you what reaches it.
Can you put sponsor logos on the back?
Yes. Send the sponsor artwork with your own and we will lay it out and show you the arrangement on a proof before production.
How far ahead should we order for an event?
Give us as much notice as you can and tell us the date when you request the quote. We will confirm in writing whether the date is workable before you commit.
What is your minimum order?
Six pieces on embroidery, and you can mix garment types to reach it — polos, jackets, caps, and quarter-zips all count toward the same order. Printed items have their own minimums depending on the design, which we confirm on your quote.
Can you match our brand colors in thread?
In most cases, yes. We select embroidery thread colors that closely match your brand colors and show them on your proof before anything goes into production.
Do we pay for digitizing every time?
No. Your logo is digitized once into a professional embroidery file and kept on record. Reorders of the same design carry no new digitizing charge.
Can you ship to more than one location?
Yes. If you have multiple offices, remote staff, or team members in different cities, tell us when you request a quote and we will price shipping accordingly.
